1. A. Plagiarism is The practice of taking
someone else’s work or ideas and claim it as own.
B. self-plagiarism refers to the practice
of claiming credit for the words, ideas, and concept of others or representing
one’s own prevously published work as though it were new.
C. direct quotation is directly quoted
another author’s work or from own previously published work. When quoting you
have to provide the author, year, and specific page citation or paragrapgh
number for nonpaginated material.
D. Paraphrasing is using your own words to express someone else's message or
ideas. In a paraphrase, the ideas and meaning of the original source must be
maintained; the main ideas need to come through, but the wording has to be your
own.
